We added golden flaxseed which is high in alpha-Linolenic acid, an Omega-3 fatty acid important in the diet of poultry and other fowl. Flaxseed is best fed as a treat or supplement in addition to the regular daily diet. It also helps laying hens produce eggs enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids. When fed as directed, it generally takes 3-5 weeks for the additional Omega-3 fatty acids to process to the egg yolk. It’s a great snack or treat for chickens and other backyard fowl!

Feeding Instructions:
May be fed daily to chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys. Sprinkle on the ground to encourage foraging, or mix into the daily diet for a very special meal. Treats should not exceed 10% of the daily dietary intake.
For optimal freshness, store in a cool dry area before and after opening. Refrigerate for extended storage.
